Did you miss out on our now famous The Envelope, Please Oscar Night
auction? Luckily you get a second change to bid on some wonderful items
and support PTFF.
We have the generous permission of six donors to re-list these some of
our most popular items, for one time only, in a first-time and exclusive
PTFF Newsletter FAST email auction. It is easy to place a bid on one

The money we raise helps PTFF bring educational and inspirational films
and filmmakers to you year-round. Every bid above the item's retail price

3X ALTMAN ��� A WEDDING
The Port Townsend Film Institute and the Upstage Theatre and Restaurant
present the third installment of our 3X Altman dinner and a movie
series. A Wedding, directed by Altman from a story by Port Townsend
resident John Considine, will be presented on Thursday, April 19.
Screenwriter and actor John Considine will introduce the film and
discuss his experience of working with Altman in three films.
The film is being offered as a dinner theatre program with dinner
served at 6:30 p.m. and the film screened at 8 p.m. Tickets for the
dinner and movie are available at the Port Townsend Film Institute���s
office, 360-379-1333. Reservations are required. Dinner is served
at 6:30 pm with the film beginning promptly at 8 o���clock. Dinner
and movie tickets are $25 each. Call PTFF360-379-1333 for tickets.
(Movie only tickets for $10 will be sold at the door on a space available
basis.) The Upstage is located at 923 Washington St.
GREEN FILM FEST ON EARTHDAY
Earth Day Every Day Port Townsend has scheduled a one-day, all-day
film festival for Saturday, April 21, at Pope Marine Park Building
with a terrific line-up of green-inspired films, among them:
- Argentina: Hope In Hard Times, 2 pm, how citizens took hold when the economy collapsed.
- Freedom Fuels, 4 pm, on how to free ourselves from oil
- Who Killed the Electric Car? 6 pm, a cautionary tale that should be screened once a month at the very least
- The Great Warming, 8 pm, global warming sites as they are occurring around the world.

Did you know that by volunteering to work 12 hours for the Port Townsend Film
Festival you could earn a free volunteer festival pass? And, if you want all
your time to watch movies, you can volunteer to work before the festival weekend
September 28-30. We have many volunteer opens today and some in leadership positions.
If you are interested please be sure to complete an online
volunteer application form. ��The more we learn about you, your interests
and your time commitment, the better we will be to match you to a job that you���ll
enjoy.
