Put on your sparkling Hollywood best!
The Port Townsend Film Festival is proud to announce that one of their favorite filmmakers, comedian Jonathan Browning, will be hosting this year’s Academy Awards Gala at the NW Maritime Center in Port Townsend.
Beginning at 3:30pm, indulge in appetizers from local restaurants, watch The Red Carpet pre-show, and enjoy live music provided by Rex Reed & his trio. Sip on a glass of complimentary champagne while bidding on Silent Auction items, like a behind-the-scenes tour of the Woodland Park Zoo; a PS Express sunset cruise for you and 25 friends in Port Townsend Bay; a filmmaking class for women; original paintings, jewelry and much more.
Doors open at 3:30, buffet dinner will be served at 5pm, and the official Oscar broadcast begins at 5:30. During commercial breaks, host Jonathan Browning will announce raffle winners and award prizes for best Hollywood look-a-like. The no-host bar will serve wine throughout the evening.

Port Townsend Film Institute First Tuesday Salon
The PT Film Institute hosts the First Tuesday Salon series each month as a vehicle for a dialogue and a greater understanding of the language of film.
PTFI members receive a $1 admission discount and 50 cents off popcorn.*
