Festival > Guess the Guest
Guessing the guest has become a popular pre-event contest for patrons of the Port Townsend Film Festival. The annual ritual begins the countdown to various program announcements by offering clues to the identity of the film fest’s special guest. Those who guess correctly are placed in a pool from which a winner is drawn and rewarded with two (2) tickets to the guest’s special screening and a personal introduction to the guest during a reception at the festival.The first clue will be released Wednesday, August 6.
Entries may be submitted in three ways:

In person: 211 Taylor St., Ste 32-A (third floor), Port Townsend, WA
Clues will be posted here on the festival’s website, and will be submitted to the Port Townsend Leader and the Peninsula Daily News.
Previous guests have included Tony Curtis (2000), Eva Marie Saint (2001), Patricia Neal (2002), Shirley Knight (2003), Jane Powell (2004), Debra Winger (2005), Malcolm McDowell (2006), and Elliott Gould (2007). Each is celebrated by the screening of one of their more noted films, followed by an interview and question-and-answer session.
