What's New?

In the New York Times last week, they wrote, "Festivals aren't just created by the filmmakers who create the work and programmers who select it, but also by the audience, which keeps that work alive — and cinema going — with its curiosity, passion and talk." PTFF audiences rock!

Port Townsend Film Festival 2010 was a remarkable success, and continues to inspire the work that we do.

Here's the last bit of straw from Taylor St and your own piece of film to remind you about 2011. Filling 5,436 seats in our indoor venues was an incredible achievement.  Anyone who joined the standing-room-only crowds at the Peter Simpson Free Cinema can tell you, PTFF is reaching new audiences. We can continue to do that with your help. The truth is that our signature events- outdoor movies on Taylor and PS Free Cinema are free to the community, but not free to produce. We are raising $20,000 to keep the camera rolling.

To help us keep these community doors open, here is what we want you to do:

We want to fill your imagination with inventive film, deeper investigations of classic cinema and associations with cutting edge regional film programs. You can make this happen by making a year end donation.

Don't let this opportunity slip by. You can make a difference! And, thanks for making the future come alive for everyone! All the best,
