ENGAGE

Here are four ways to be engaged, involved, and up to your ears in all the riches of our festival family.

The starting place is your investment in a pass, your year round membership. From $35 to $1250, there is a level for all of us. It brings access to the September festival as well as invitations to year round events, and access to our library of past festival films, other remarkable films from the pantheon of film literature, and some great books. Not to mention discounts at the Rose Theatre and other businesses.

Once you have settled on which pass to have, you may want to lend some time and expertise to the festival as a volunteer. Our volunteer corp gets more focused, more adept and more fun to work with every year. Your efforts will earn you cash credit for that pass you have chosen.

So you have a pass, have taken on a volunteer role and you want to promote your business or just plain stand up and be counted as a believer in authentic, independent media. Sponsorship is for you. From $150 to $15,000, there is a level for you to sponsor something specific and get your name in lights, on the printed page and mentioned wherever we can.

In most cases you can give that pass you bought to your kid sister and her strange boyfriend, because sponsorship will bring some year round passes with it. How many and what level depends on the level of your sponsorship commitment.

When your pass buying or sponsorship appetite carries you far enough you will be blessed with a StoryMaker moniker. StoryMakers are those who invest in our outreach program, the StoryMakers. But you don't have to do anything super-stratospheric to come on board. Any contribution from $150 up rings our bells. At high enough levels, a year round pass of some level will be part of the deal. And somewhere up there you get a swell StoryMaker shoulder bag to carry that fabulous script you've been working and make a fine impression on arrival at your big pitch to the moguls down the block.
